The STEAR Process:

The STEAR Process was developed by Sarah in 2008 and she has been using it since then to coach her clients. The middle 3 letters of STEAR are TEA:
1.THOUGHTS – your thoughts create your emotions & are vital to shifting your perception around alcohol and ending the overthinking cycle forever.

2. EMOTIONS- this part helps you to clearly understand why you behave like you do around alcohol (along with other factors that will be explained) so you can create the identity of someone who is in love with life, not alcohol.
3. ACTIONS – everything that’s waiting for you once you overcome overthinking your drinking & create the simple powerful daily practices instead of the actions you were previously taking.

*Everything you want to share from IQW Freedom Formula will be 100% confidential and your stories will never be shared without permission.
IQW Freedo Formula is a sacred safe place to explore your relationship with wine.

FAQ’s

What happens after 30 days?

You can go through the modules again as many times as you need to or come back to them when you need a refresh.
More content (including Sarah private I Quit Wine Podcast, not available anywhere else) will be added each week.

Is this right for me if I already have 30 days of not drinking under my belt?

Yes! Many of our members stopped drinking 6, 12 or 48 months ago but are taking their emotional and physical wellness to the next level.

I feel like I’m a lost cause, I’ve been on the stop/start cycle for years. Will this help?

You are exactly who Sarah created this beautiful program for as this was her journey. It just means you are normal. It takes most people many attempts to stop and stay stopped.

Testimonials

I got so tired of drinking.
I was tired of all the thinking about drinking.
You know how it goes.
I’ll only drink on weekends.
I’ll have water between drinks.
I’ll switch to white instead of red.
I’ll just drink clear spirits.
I’ll try organic wine.
I was tired of waking up tired.
I was tired of breaking promises I made to myself.
I was tired of feeling shame no matter how much or little I drank.
I was tired of not making progress on my health goals.
I was tired of feeling a lack of clarity in the mornings. Or all day.
I was tired of listening to myself justifying why I was going to ‘just have one’.
I was tired of trying to go against nature when my body was screaming at me in peri/menopause.
But most of all I was tired of using alcohol as my go-to coping mechanism.
It was the solution to feeling overwhelmed or insufficient as a mother, especially when my kids were young.
It was the answer to social awkwardness.
It was a magical cure for the ordinary mundaneness of life (which I now know is such a lie- the ordinary moments are the most extraordinary ones).
I still get tired. But it’s a very different version of tiredness. I get tired of living life full out, from truly connecting & doing my work in the world.
I love the alcohol-free version of tired.

I went to a Jazz and Shiraz event in a park walking distance from my house – I just renamed it Jazz and Juice.
Went with a friend who was drinking wine and I wasn’t at all tempted. I got to sit and relax and enjoy the music while she lined up for 20 minutes to buy a drink!
It was a great afternoon and no after effects! Awesome!

This is a very helpful exercise (the ‘IQW Audit inside the Academy). Looking back on reality and having a couple of examples from past times on quick recall really strengthens my desire and commitment to my new AF life. On the plus side, I now have some other memories to add of how things are now and how I want them to stay….

The few days were just so freeing not having to think about drinking. Previously I would have cut walks short so I could relax and read my book in the lounge with a glass of wine. I wouldn’t have been as present for the few days with my family, it was so precious and I have memories that I’ll cherish forever.

Just back from a music festival. Not only did I have NO desire to drink alcohol. I felt really sorry for everyone who was drinking. So aware of how unconscious some people were. I felt present, loved the music, the dancing and being with my friends. Forever grateful.

If you’d said to me 3 months ago that I’d have gone over 100 days without wine & I’d be sitting outside in the sun eating my yummy
homemade granola at 8.30am having already done a weights workout, I’d say you were crackers!
But it turns out that I’m that kind of woman after all, I just never knew it.
